Developer Relations Engineer

🕓 full-time
💻 remote

At Liveblocks, we're building tools to help companies create amazing real-time collaborative products so that people using those products can feel more connected and work better together.

We're a small remote team with a passion for creative tools. We're makers ourselves, and it's fair to say that we sweat the details in everything we do. Whether it be when designing a landing page for the website, or obsessing over the right abstractions for our APIs, and everything in between.

Liveblocks is growing quickly and is backed by some of the best investors including Boldstart, Seedcamp, and individuals who’ve worked at companies like Figma, Github, Vercel, Facebook, Segment, and more.

As an early member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the founding team to help define, build, and scale the product.

If this is an endeavor you’d like to be a part of, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Open communication and collaboration skills. As part of this role, you'll work closely with the team, communicate openly, give and receive thoughtful feedback.

Who we are

Steven (CEO) lives in Paris and has been making creative tools since 2014. Before that, he was running Easee, a web animation tool for designers that was acquired in April 2016 by InVision, which eventually led him to work on design systems and tooling at Facebook Messenger.

Guillaume (CTO) lives in Montréal. He’s led engineering teams and projects at various companies such as InVision, Breather, and Landr.

Liveblocks is a remote-first company without any physical offices, and we have regular off-sites to meet each other in person.

The first time I demo'd Liveblocks it blew my mind. Steven and Guillaume have built something hard that saves developers tons of time. I think it unlocks a lot of very interesting use cases across both B2B and consumer products. One of my favorite portfolio companies!
